Mac compatibility
The source declares macOS 13+ and Swift tools 5.9. Full Xcode is recommended for building and required for the full Swift test workflow. Native glass is available on macOS 26; older systems use material fallbacks. Check that the Xcode version you install supports both your Mac and iPhone software.
Standalone helper packaging and architecture support need separate verification. A universal Mac executable does not automatically make the bundled control runtime portable.
iPhone and network
Use a data-capable cable for USB. Keep the physical iPhone awake and unlocked during setup. For Wi-Fi, both devices must be on the same reachable local network. Guest networks, client isolation and network filtering can prevent discovery or connection.
USB viewing works without Developer Mode, the control runtime or the Wi-Fi-specific iOS 27 requirement.
