USB touch & keyboard
Add experimental input after USB viewing works.
Optional, separate setup
Use Mirror only if you just need video. USB control requires a matching phone binding, native runtime and compatible developer services.
Prepare control
- Verify USB viewing first.
- Complete Developer setup on the phone and Mac.
- Choose USB control mode → Mirror & Control.
- Connect controls, then test a harmless tap and Home on the physical iPhone.
Interactions
The native USB input path supports click, drag, scrolling and keyboard input. Focus the mirrored view before typing. Home is available through Glint’s Home control when the control session is ready. Keyboard layouts, app-specific gestures and input behavior need broader device testing.
Verify the result
A ready badge or an accepted input request is not proof that the phone acted. Confirm that the physical phone responds. If video works but input does not, keep USB viewing running and troubleshoot the control prerequisites separately.
